I am a first-generation Italian American, raised in the heart of San Francisco’s vibrant Italian community. My childhood was shaped by the energy of the city’s historic social clubs and the soul of the family kitchen. It was here that I learned that Italian cooking is about more than just food—it’s about connection, heritage, and the absolute respect for the ingredient.
My education was passed down through the hands of my family (Nonne, Mother, Aunts, Cousins). They taught me how to identify the freshest, highest-quality local ingredients and transform them into delicious, healthy meals—using techniques that have remained unchanged for generations.
Now, I bring that legacy to Carmel-by-the-Sea. At Cook with Stefano, I bridge the gap between my San Francisco roots and my Italian heritage.
